Registration will begin at camp location on Monday at 8 am. It will take a few minutes to check-in, so please leave plenty of time. Check-in is where you can leave money for lunch, purchase pictures, pay balances and ask questions.
You have three lunch options for camp. (Lehigh Valley ONLY. All other camps must check with their specific location.)
A canteen card can be purchased at check-in for amounts ranging from $10 to $25. We offer a variety of food and do our best to give the campers a well balanced lunch. Any money that is not spent by the end of the week will be returned on Friday.
We do ask that if you send money for lunch with your child during the week, it is given to our administrator or director at the beginning of the day. This will make sure it is not lost and will be easier for our staff to keep track of.
All balls will be provided at camp. We ask that you do not bring your own balls, as they can easily get lost in Push The Rock’s equipment. Here is a generic list of what you do need to bring:
Shoes – Appropriate shoes for the sport. Be aware that spikes can not be worn inside, so a pair of flats is always good to have with you.
Protective Gear – You are responsible for your own personal gear. This includes shin guards in soccer, mouth pieces for any sport, ankle braces if you need them, etc. Each athlete has his own needs and you must provide gear to fit that need. Push The Rock does not provide these as part of camp.
Weather Appropriate Clothes – The summer can have a variety of weather, including cool mornings and hot afternoons. Outdoor camps will play in rain and damp conditions. This means you might need a variety of clothes during the day. Please bring appropriate clothes to keep yourself warm and dry. A change of clothes is never a bad idea, especially on a rainy day.
Sun Screen – People have different reactions to the sun. Please make sure you bring your SPF desired sun screen to camp. Push The Rock will have sun screen for those who forget, but we will not have a large selection. If your child needs a heavier sun screen, it is important to bring it daily.
A Good Attitude – Camp can be a very exciting time and a great learning experience. We ask that you bring an open mind to learn new techniques, refine old habits and make new friends. Attitude is one thing a child has control over. Lets have a great week.
All full day camps and most half day camps will have a closing program on Friday. (Any exception will be noted in the welcome letter you’ll receive at check-in.) We invite parents to come to camp early on Friday to watch your child play. There will then be a short program to close out the week. All programs will start after lunch, with the specific time being listed in the welcome letter you’ll receive at check-in.
