Push The Rock’s ministries are very much dependent on the financial giving provided by our generous supporters. We would not be able to accomplish the mission God has given to us without this support.
Below you will find a description of the array of Push The Rock fund types and their purposes as well as information about our partnership with Mennonite Foundation.
Push The Rock wants to assure you that every gift does make a difference. If you would like to make a donation, please contact the office (610 967-6861.)
This fund is used to support the on-going daily operational costs of Push the Rock. Costs such as rent , utilities, new equipment, office supplies, office equipment , administrative and overhead costs are covered by this fund. Our ministry fees contribute to this fund but they are insufficient to cover the full operations of the ministry.
While each of our staff members are encouraged to raise their full support , we only require them to raise 90% of their support requirements before their salary is impacted. The PTR annual fund also makes up the difference between their full support requirements and what they raise.
This fund is used to support attendees of PTR ministry activities who are economically disadvantaged. The funds raised go directly to support camp scholarships, mission trip scholarships and to fund our Urban Ministry.
The “Project Cheryl Fund” was established in memory of Cheryl (Walton) Johnson, her husband Charlie, and their two children Matthew and Timothy who were tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1989. Cheryl is the sister of our chairman David and along with Charlie was an inspiration to him in getting involved in sports ministry .
