Regional Program Director (U.S. Location: T.B.D.)


Job Summary: The primary role of this position is to oversee all facets for the delivery of programs through the regional office, interfacing with the Push The Rock organizational staff as required.

Primary Duties:

  1. Promote and publicize Push The Rock ministry and programs to the local community within the region. Identify and develop potential opportunities through relationship building with local church and Christian organizations.

  2. Organize and plan all facets necessary to manage the specific ministry areas. This includes but is not limited to program scheduling, budgeting, contracts, staffing, spiritual development, training, facilities, equipment and communications. ensure that program performance standards are achieved and take corrective action where required. Complete a program evaluation and conduct a lessons learned session at the completion of each regional program. Provide evaluation report to the Director of Domestic Programs and Director of Operations.

  3. Coordinate efforts to provide follow up with program attendees and local churches.

  4. Participate in the development of the camper section of the Push The Rock website that would include, but not be limited to, Bible study development and character study.

  5. Participate in the implementation of new Push The Rock regional offices in the United States.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Perform the above duties for the following ministry programs of Push The Rock at the regional location;

    • Camps / Clinics

    • Home School

    • Mission Olympics

    • League / Club Ministries

    • Others as developed

  2. Serve as the chairman of the local planning committee.

Personal Accountability:

  • Establish and maintain regular contact with an accountability partner. The accountability partner serves as a prayer partner who is available to counsel, advise and provide guidance on issues related to Push The Rock ministries.

  • Responsible for raising 90% of required support (salary and benefits) plus an administrative fee. It is Push The Rock's intent to acquire some funding that will be.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ with consistent evidence of fruit in their personal life.

  • Involved in an evangelical church and supportive of Christian ministry.

  • Committed to Push The Rock's Vision, Mission and Core Values.

  • Agrees with Push The Rock's Doctrinal Statement.

  • Resourceful, imaginative, bringing creativity to the role.

  • Enthusiastic.

  • Motivated to serve God in a sports related ministry.

  • Ability to consistently use good judgment.

Job Skills:

  • Sports-minded: Experience playing and / or coaching one or more of the sports associated with Push The Rock's ministries.

  • Ability to lead and direct programs, coordinating the efforts of others, monitoring activities and making adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired results.

  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Reporting Relationship(s): Reports to the Director of Domestic Programs.

Work Schedule: Minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required on occasion to meet specific project deadlines.
