Our summer mission trips are quickly approaching as the Costa Rica soccer team
prepares to leave on May 19 serving through May 31 and the Italy basketball team
leaves June 14 and returns June 29. The teams are made up of men and women coming
from all over the country including California, Georgia, Colorado, Ohio, Chicago,
New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Using soccer as their outreach tool, the Costa Rica team will be ministering in
schools, prisons and detention centers in and around the San Jose area. This will
be Push The Rock’s second year serving in Costa Rica.
Ten men and eleven women make up the Italy basketball team. They will be serving
in Mestre, the residential part of Venice, for the second summer in a row. Push The
Rock is partnering with a local church to help them reach their community through
basketball camps and games played with local club teams.
