Push The
Rock Programs
We believe that
God has called us to use sports as a platform to
reach people with the truth of Jesus Christ.
Over 75% of Americans watch, read about
or participate in sports each week. In each of
our sport ministries, we provide opportunities
for sports-minded Christian coaches, athletes,
trainers and administrators to put their faith
into practice by using their God-given athletic
abilities and Christian character as they
instruct others in sport and share the message
of Christ.
Camps: Our
week long camp programs are conducted during the
summer months. The camps provide excellent
opportunities for sports-minded individuals to
be a part of an outstanding staff. The camps
provide a unique format that integrates athletic
instruction and integrity in sports with
spiritual elements, such as Biblical teaching
and the promotion of Christian character traits.
See Camps for more
information regarding opportunities to be a part
of this Push The Rock ministry.
Missions: Each
year we conduct several short-term mission trips
throughout the world. God has opened some unique
opportunities through these trips. We partner
with local churches to conduct an outreach in
their communities. In this format, we provide
daily sports camps for kids and get involved in
the community through evening competition,
visiting orphanages and performing various
community projects. See Missions for more information regarding
opportunities to get involved in this Push
The Rock ministry.
Other Programs:
Each of these programs incorporates the key
foundational athletic and spiritual components
found in all of our programs. See
Other Programs for
more information.
-
Leagues and Clubs:
Push The Rock fields teams
that participate in local,
regional and national sport
programs where athletes are
provided with an environment to
further develop their athletic
skills and spiritual maturity.
The teams compete with other
teams and have the opportunity
to share the Gospel with others.
The programs run for several
months depending on the sport.
-
Home School: Push The
Rock offers a sports class
for home schooled students. The
athletic and spiritual
components are geared to the
needs of the home-schooled
students.
-
Mission Olympics: Push
The Rock has created a
program that can enhance your
church's missions conference.
This program helps generate an
excitement for missions and gets
the whole family involved in
supporting missions. It is an
opportunity to see missionaries
in a more informal setting with
plenty of fun, fellowship and
food.
-
Clinics: Clinics are
similar to camps, but are
conducted in an abbreviated
fashion, typically one or two
days in length. They are
sometimes used in conjunction
with an event hosted by a church
or other Christian organization.
